HISTORY

Vemax Usinagem, formerly MCA, was founded by Mr. Mauro Costa de Abreu who, with the help of three employees, started his activities in 1999 performing machining services for the company NEIVA. In 2009, a new management took over the company and started an expansion work together with its team. Looking for a new strategy, in 2011, he changed the company's name from MCA (initials by Mauro Costa de Abreu) to VEMAX machining.

The purpose of this change was to bring to the name of the company what was expected of it.

DAY Q

Annually VEMAX holds the "Day Q"

“Day Q” refers to the World Quality Day that was instituted by the UN in 1990 and is currently celebrated on the second Thursday of November.
The purpose of the event is to emphasize the importance of the theme for the productivity and competitiveness of organizations, in addition to increasing global awareness with a view to the growth and prosperity of companies.
We held the first “Day Q” in 2017 and from then on the event is repeated every year.
